part Indiana Jones, part fairy

truly.  her play, her outfits, her imagination....... it's such a fun and wild mix.  part fairies and ballet and part splitting shingles (thank you, Ox Cart Man) and driving horses and oxen (thank you, Farmer Boy) and creating "little homesteader villages" and wrangling all sorts of creatures.  she pirouettes and points her toes, pretends to fly, and then she's off building fires, threshing wheat, catching fish and snakes, and inviting the frog in the little pond to come find some food and maybe mate (I'm pretty sure she thinks that means dance).  also, anything at all (at all) long and stringy gets all tied up.  it's actually kind of becoming a problem.  or at least it is mildly inconvenient.  I go to the garden and come back to find the gate tied shut with a hula hoop, some webbing, and somehow there's also an umbrella and some leaves tied in there too.  she looks to have a promising future in knot-tying.  so, you know, a good mix.  she's my little renaissance girl.  surely the world could use some more fairy-loving oxen-wranglers that are good with knots and separating the grain from the chaff, right?

absolutely.
