winter bits :: making merry, part two (a trip north)

a quick trip north to meet a very special someone (a new cousin!) and attend a rather large family Christmas gathering.  there were meals and board games with loved ones, visits with friends and their children, movies and miscellany and Harry Potter read aloud with a special someone who is so excited to share in the magic with Claire......  there was also a first time ever on ice skates for the little miss.  she LOVED it.  it was such fun.  we skated for almost three hours!  and now we must plan to go again.
