a chronicle of our days and half-time efforts at (sub)urban homesteading, musings on parenting, and a whole lot of the mundane, humdrum bits.

winter bits :: making merry, part one
it's been a while. there have been things going on, of course. lots of holiday things, mostly. we're coming off 2.5 weeks of winter break and tomorrow we will attempt to get back into the swing of homeschool and work and a rhythm that bends beyond pajamas and tea and books and movies and the wood stove. as we begin putting the holiday bits and pieces to rest for another year and enjoy the clean slate that January brings, I'd like to go back a bit over the next few days to share some glimpses of our last few weeks.
the photos above are from our town's Christmas parade and various other holiday odds and ends. Claire's calico critters, as you can plainly see, really got into the spirit of things this year.

Deletei love it all. the photos you capture... so good. i have barely been picking my camera up lately. i don't know why. when i see pictures like yours though... i wish i would have snapped mine more. even if i don't share them with a soul, right?! that is something i want to get better about in 2018... documenting.
ReplyDeletethank you~ I go in phases, for sure, and recently realized I hadn't been taking photos much and then kind of went all out for a while! I find your photos to be such eye candy, too- just so you know ;)
