scenes from the dollhouse(s)

what is there to say?  there are lots of sleepovers, someone is usually sick in bed, people take turns cooking, and the furniture gets moved around all the time.  she is quite into dollhouse play these days- often while listening to her audiobooks.  I have fun peeking in to see what her little folks are up to from one minute (or day) to the next.  sometimes she comes to me in a flurry of excitement wanting to know what fabric she can use to make doll blankets, or if it's okay to put real tea in tiny cups for her dolls, or some other such question.

my mom made her the little balsa and bass wood dollhouse for Christmas.  she made all of the furniture, too, along with a toilet shaped out of sculpey clay, tiny books and mail and food, a fridge and oven that open and close....... well, you get the picture.

fun, fun, fun.
