a chronicle of our days and half-time efforts at (sub)urban homesteading, musings on parenting, and a whole lot of the mundane, humdrum bits.
Amanda, everything looks just right for autumn....delicious :-)
we're trying to keep things rolling as far into the year as we can!
Very impressive, well done. I still have some carrots that I am hoping will last so that we can have them for Christmas dinner, fingers crossed.
what a nice plan! best of luck- the best place for them is sometimes just hanging out in the soil, waiting......
Yes, this weather is weird! Just last week I picked the last of the raspberry stragglers - no leaves on the vines, but there was a few sad looking half frozen berries! And our kale is actually growing, not just holding on.
oh I know! a couple nights of frost, then weeks with nights in the 40s, and now this stretch of days in the mid 60s. fickle fall.these raspberries I picked in the first week of November, but I do believe there are a few still holding on out there... I'm hoping we can keep the greens going for a while yet.
Look at those carrots!
they're not bad! there are still some out there, but I"m letting them get a little bigger
not bad at all!
thanks for taking the time to read and comment~
