the mornings I'm up a bit before she is are wonderful for many reasons. a quiet start to a fresh day is in itself a beautiful thing. a solo cup of tea or coffee, maybe a chapter or two and a quick peek around the garden are great things, but I think the best part is watching her sleep in the soft morning light. it is perfection. I stare in wonder, trying to drink it all in. there's so much possibility, so much fullness and tenderness, so much love.
a chronicle of our days and half-time efforts at (sub)urban homesteading, musings on parenting, and a whole lot of the mundane, humdrum bits.
