tiramisu and bananagrams, too

Yesterday was a really nice day, and here's why...


Mama got to spend 2 hours in the morning working on a photo project while papa and babe hung out together at home...

and then I ate tiramisu for lunch,

and then played bananagrams with papa for a bit, stopping for stories now and again when the little one brought us books to read (because how can you say no to that?),

and then ate french toast for dinner (thanks to our girls for supplying the delicious eggs!),

and then watched the daylight fade into this beautiful post-sunset moment,

and then spent some time with papa in our friends' hot tub while their children entertained our little lady...


I went to bed feeling quite grateful, indeed.
