a chronicle of our days and half-time efforts at (sub)urban homesteading, musings on parenting, and a whole lot of the mundane, humdrum bits.

I'm very excited (giddy, even) to share that I've got an article in the current issue of taproot. I have been a subscriber since the beginning and love this beautiful magazine, and am quite honored to be included! these projects are staples around here~ Claire wore those red mittens and a sweater-hat yesterday, and I am currently making two rugs that will be Christmas gifts for a couple of very good friends.
cheers to you and yours~
I hope the coming week is filled with lots of love, light, gratitude, and holiday cheer!
I'll be seeing some of you over at Hibernate, soon.
Congratulations! Taproot is my favorite and like you, I've been a subscriber from the start. I'm looking forward to spending time with you in Hibernate. I am registered and ready to go!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI've loved being a part of Hibernate in the past- always such a nice reminder to fully embrace the slower, quieter pace of this time of year~
Congratulations I am excited for you, a wonderful honour. Wishing you everything that you wish for yourself for Christmas and the New Year.
ReplyDeletethank you~
Deleteand to you as well!
SO exciting!!! just loved catching your name in there! also, each time i get a new issue and flip through the hands section... there are usually about two or three things that i think "oh, i have to try that." Your contribution though made it to my mental must do list before i noticed who's name was attached :)
ReplyDeletesweet! I'm honored that it made the cut ;)
DeleteI'd love to see photos if you end up making either project- how fun!
I read your article last week and was totally inspired by the rug. With a house full of animals, inexpensive washable area rugs are a necessity - this is a great idea!
ReplyDeletethat's so great to hear! we just recently washed our kitchen rug and it is happily back under my feet at the sink now (we always lay them out to dry for a couple days after gently washing).
Deletecongratulations!!! so very exciting :)
ReplyDeletethank you, Karen!
DeleteYippie! Congratulations. :)
ReplyDeletehurrah!
DeleteCongratulations to you!v That's so cool! I'm a subscriber, but not for such a long time. Though I do really like this magazine and all the projects there very much!
ReplyDeleteit's a keeper, I think. (the magazine, in general) I always find at least a few projects/ideas/recipes in each issue that really speak to me.
