go to the river
Almost-end-of-summer trip up to Burnsville with dear friends to visit other dear friends and spend some time in the garden, time by the river. Sigh. Such soul food.
Anyone else love the Natalie Merchant song "Where I Go?" - love it, love it.
I didn't know Natalie Merchant but after going to youtube to see who she was I can tell she is gonna be on my music list from now on so. . Thanks!! Beautiful photos :)
i love the way you are incorporating some black and whites into your posts... such a beautiful contrast! makes me want to try more black and whites. i often do black and whites of people but never think to try them on anything else. thanks for inspiring! late summer river trips are so sacred. always knowing that it may be the last of the season... sigh... definitely soul food :)
Beautiful photos...
ReplyDeletethank you, Debi!

ReplyDeleteI do love juxtaposing them with color photos, for sure. And I love the starkness, the contrast, and the honesty of black and white photos.
